Day 1 — Arrive · Sorrento
Arrive and settle into your hotel in Sorrento. An easy first evening wandering the historic center — Piazza Tasso and the narrow lanes off Corso Italia — then dinner overlooking the Bay of Naples as the sun sets.
Day 2 — Capri · Blue Grotto
A boat from Sorrento's marina crosses to Capri, where a smaller boat threads into the Blue Grotto and the island's other sea caves, the water glowing an otherworldly blue in the right light. Spend the afternoon in Capri town and Anacapri, riding the chairlift up Monte Solaro for sweeping views over the island, or simply lingering over lunch in the Piazzetta before the boat back to Sorrento.
Day 3 — Amalfi · Ravello
Drive the coast road to Amalfi, the town that gave the coastline its name, to wander the Duomo di Sant'Andrea and its cloistered courtyard. Continue up into the hills to Ravello, perched high above the sea, for the terraced gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, where the views stretch the length of the coast. Day 4 — Lemon Farm · Positano
A morning at a family-run lemon farm in the hills above Sorrento, wandering terraces heavy with the region's famous lemons before a lunch built around them. Afterward, continue along the coast to Positano, the most photographed town on the Amalfi Coast, to wander its steep, colorful streets tumbling down to the sea. Dinner overlooking the Bay of Naples.
Day 5 — Depart
A slower final day to revisit a favorite corner of Sorrento, browse the local ceramics and leather shops, or simply relax by the water. A last dinner together somewhere with a view of the coastline that started it all.
